Hi, My problem is that when I start a cycle the proframme starts and goes through its normal pgramme for a while but then stops and E3 Starts to flash on the display and when I open the machine the waste water is still there. I start it again and the waste goes away so there is no problem with the waste pipe. I wonder if anyone out there knows what E3 being displayed is and what is going wrong. Mick
E3 means water is "not heating" for this model. Check the heating element, thermostat/thermistor or printed circuit board with power OFF.

It is the same problem, but an engineer has told me the heater element and the thermostat are working fine as he has tested the temperture whilst it was running.
However periodically the E3 error is still reported. is this something I can fix?
My dishwasher is producing a pervasive odour like mouldy dankness....during wash cycles it will seemingly randomly produce the E3 message and then if you put the machine onto a cycle it will clear and be fine, until the next time. It also frequently does not correctly release the tablet leaving the flap open but the tablet stuck, al wet and gummy, to the door
