I have a Roper top loading washing machine. The hot water won't shut off. The machine will go thru the cyles just fine but the hot water keeps running the whole time. Even after the machine has stopped the hot water is still running. What is wrong and what do I do to have it fixed?

If your Roper top loading washing machine is stuck on the first wash cycle, you're not alone! It's a common problem that can be caused by a few different things. First, check to make sure the lid is closed properly. If it is, then you may need to check the timer, the water level switch, or the motor. If you're not sure how to do this, it's best to call a professional. Trying to fix it yourself could end up costing you more in the long run. But don't worry, you'll be back to washing your clothes in no time! Just remember, when it comes to washing machines, it's better to be safe than sorry.
That could be your lid switch. You should hear an audible click when you shut the lid. If the washer act like it is trying but won't spin that could be the drive coupler. I have a page which includes a service manual HERE

Good day, If you unplug the machine from the wall and the hot will still add water then it is a failed dual water valve, and must be replaced. Here is a tutorial on accessing the area where the valve is. It is not about changing the valve, but will get the job done.
clogged freezer drain in freezer. remove cover and work some hot water in and out of the drain with a turkey baster until water runs thru and then poutr more water thru drain until all ice is washed thru. good luck.
not too familiar, but just replaced my lid switch (but that worked) and thru my research I found could also be the belt, so try researching that, sorry could not be more help
Check the lint filter at the end of the hose. The filter is actually inside the washer. My husband cleaned it out and now ours works great. Both hot and cold had stopped running in because of our hard water.
The problem is one of two parts. One is your water temperature switch or your hot water solinoid. To get to the back you must remove the hex screws on the back and then the panel is removeable.
