The shipping rod would not come out. broke the plastic piece off and the rod went back inside the washer. now what?

JB weld will not work get it welded by a pro with the proper hi frequency welder otherwise you will have to replace the box ,and yes get a new cylinder ,hope you get sorted

Check the Vibration damper rods to be sure that...
1. They are there and mount is solid.
2. If they are broken in 1/2.
3. The plastic knuckle mounts are not missing/broken.
4. There is oil in the shock absorber/spring section of the rods.

Also - there are suspension springs on the bottom of the tub that could be broken and/or missing.

Replace/repair as necessary.

That is not true.
The handle fell off on the inside. You can remove all the screws, remove window and lock controls. Then take a large flat-tipped screwdriver gently pry off door panel. Pull up and off when loose. You will now have access to inside off door and put the rod back in the handle hole. If the plastic holder piece is broke you will need another one. Cheap.

I went to the Jensen site. Their response was I would have to buy the whole face piece which was only 80 bucks after shipping. Broke out the dremel tool and manufactured one myself out of a piece of aluminum. Works fine. Thanks.

The rod may have gotten bent causing the plastic clip to break. Strighten out the rod so it has it's length again to push on the luck to unlock the door. Good luck and hope this helps.You don't have to remove the rod, you can do it in it's place with your fingers. 

The plastic piece goes between the steel rod and cruise/wiper lever. You will have to remove the wheel and the upper bearing housing to get it back where it goes. If you put some wheel bearing grease on it then it will stay in place during reassembly.. Good Luck

IF THIS IS A BRAND NEW INSTALLATION - be sure you hav removed the basket shipping pins (4) that secure the tub during shipping.

here's the part number for the replacement 8182233, thinking it may come as a 3 pack , if they're not broken no need to replace. but the new one will simply slide in and with a click forward lock into place. they also come shipped with a screw to secure. in order to install screw you'll need to remove the top of the washer(3 screws across the back of the top assy and slides back and off. then you'll see the top of the tub area, a small black hose will run from the white box to the left to directly top of the tub assy. remove ethe hose from the tub and spin the inner drum to the correct position, they screw hole will line up through the opening, re-secure the hose to the tub and your in!

I have tried to get a parts breakdown for your vacuum cleaner with no success. The way that then washers should go is the flat smotth metal washer on the inside followed by the fibre washer and the wavy washer on the outside. The waves are used to bite into the plastic so it cannot work loose.
