The capacitors on the power supply need to be replaced. When you take apart the TV, and then remove the power supply (it's the section that the power cord goes to) and open it up. Look for the little can capacitors and see if any of them are bulging on top. That is the sign that they've blown. Replace the big ones (about 5) for about $5 in parts. Reassemble and test by turning it on. Search for YouTube video on howto replace capacitors.
If that fuse is blown chances are its because the Power supply has developed a short. The power supply will need replacement. You can easially install a power supply yourself just a few screws and couple of wire sockets and the old board pops right out. You can get the power boards from www.tvcircuitboards.com
you have shorted power transistor or mosfet on power supply that need to be replace however this need a soldering skills and electronic background if you don't have skills its better if you replace the whole power supply board.
Check the fuse. Blowing a power supply does not happen. Blowing a fuse often does. If the power supply truly went out, it is too small in amperage. More information on the power supply may help.
If your desktop computer went bang from the back of the computer and the burnt smell comes from the fan grill of the power supply then the switch mode power supply definitely failed. The bang and burning smell was probably one or more of the capacitors that has exploded inside the power supply. You can replace the switch mode power supply, make sure you purchase one that has the same total wattage or higher wattage. There is a chance that when the power supply failed it may have caused a voltage spike that could have damaged some other components. You won't know until you replace the faulty power supply.
if your computer is went off first you check its power cable .its battery if working in good then you check its power button its properly working push properly

OK unplug power supply from back of laptop, remove battery, insert power supply, if NO light, on laptop, power supply is broken..Replace. IF it is OK, hold power button ON for a while, or until, the PC starts, if/when it starts, shutdown, with power ON key, and then take out power supply, replace battery, replace power supply, turn laptop on, now should be OK.
If the power went out while it was on it may have been given a surge. If that is the case the motherboard is going to need to be replaced. Check the power supply connection on the motherboard if it is discolored then that is the problem.
