Any one know why i can t download 10.6 on my mac, it alresdy has has 10.5 but every time i try and download 10.6 it says that i need 10.6 to do the set up, please HELP before i throw it out the window

10.6 otherwise known as snow leopard is not a downloadable update it is a bought upgrade. You would need to buy a software instal disk either through the apple store or you could pick one up on ebay, you need to have an intel mac to instal and if you have any older software (i.e. PPC software) as rosetta is not installed by default you would need to instal rosetta from the instal disk but that it is not a problem.
