Uncontrolled scrolling within excel app

Within a published excel application in a Citrix environment, users of our S30's are experiencing uncontrolled scrolling in excel. For example, when someone attempts to select roughly one page of cells to copy, format, whatever, when the mouse is dragged over the area to select, the selection process "runs wild" and selects everything within the document (no matter how long) and cannot be stopped. Initial thoughts were a problem with the mouse or keyboard. I've swapped both out and still have issues. Any thoughts?

    We solved this by reflashing the unit with the latest CE client.

Try pushing in on the scrolling ball on the mouse.
I just had the same issue and that's what I did and it quit.

If you are using the Clients over a network, then the problem is with the Terminal Server hosting the clients. BPCS

You System has been attacked by a virus or bug try scanning your PC in safe mode with the latest dat file of MC afee or trend micro. I have faced a similar problem recently and and have got rid of it this way only. Good Luck

Cannot update apps, it messages to contact you for updates

Which apps cannot be updated? Who is "you?" I don't think you mean Fixya.
Many times software publishers will cease to support a version after a certain date, and automatic updating from within the application may no longer function after that end-of-support date. Some of the publishers have a fallback destination for update requests suggesting an alternative, possibly suggesting contacting the publisher or even a third party.
One alternative is to search the publishers support download files for archives of older versions. Find the most recent update package for your version and download it (check your installed software first; if its version matches the one on the support page, that is as up to date as you will get without going to a newer major version. Caution: check system requirements for the update and verify it will work with your system before downloading.
Some publishers will not have the files on their public server, but will e-mail an updater to you if you contact them for it. Be ready to provide them with your application version information, hardware information (model, installed memory and frees space available on the hard drive) and operating system version so you receive the best update. If the publisher followed the rules, you can get the app version info by going to ,<ApplicationName> menu and selecting <ApplicationName> from that menu. be sure to select and copy the entire version number string for pasting into your message to the publisher.

Uncontrolled downshift of 1994 c220

no 4-3 or 3-2 downshift
uncontrolled downshifts outside range of kickdown switch
poor acceleration from stopped position
parking pawl will not engage
selector lever does not engage in r or p
engine will not start in p or n position
smoke in exhaust (fluid loss)
fluid loss between torque converter & primary pump
howling noise when changing gears (under full load)
howling noise which increases as engine rpm increases
1st gear & reverse too loud

My touchpad has ceased to work. When I use it the cursor flies all over the screen. I am using an external mouse which defeats the object of a laptop-wires etc.

this is due to some applications your cursor doesn't work or it fly over the screen automatically uncontrolled.try rebooting system when it happens.

CITRIX not working with my cable modem. Connecting via laptop using the modem's wireless connection. i am able to connect to CITRIX just fine from the office, and from other internet connections.

Are you talking about published apps not working? If so, make sure that your cable modem has the following ports open:

TCP 1494 and 2598

These ports are used by the ICA protocol, which is what Citrix Presentation / XenApp Server software uses for running published apps.

Lexmark Z645 can print locally, but will not print off of citrix

Lexmark X and Z series printers do not function in a Citrix environment, see page 4 on the following document.
