Seal/Gasket missing on Braun Blender

Hi. I recently purchased a second hand Braun blender, but the seal/gasket seems to be missing. We are based in Wellington, New Zealand. Any idea where we can get a new one, and determine which one is required? (we don't know the model no or anything).

Thanks

Hi. There's only one common blender made by Braun, which has a triangular jug in either glass or plastic, but the locking ring and gasket are the same. It'd be a 4184, either a MX2000 or MX2050.

I need 0914084 Blender Sealing Ring Diameter 2 1/16"or its substitute.

Unfortunately that gasket, part number MS-0914084, has been discontinued.

Here is a link to the part online: Seal MS 0914084 for Krups Appliance eReplacement Parts

Unfortunately the gasket is obsolete, and there are no known replacements. The gasket is very perticular and i do not know of any other gaskets that have a similar shape.

GE single serve blender 898679--need replacement plastic gasket for grinding jar. I am told by Walmart, where I purchased it, that I need to return it. I don't want to return it. The blade chewed up the...

I had the same issue. i took the gasket from the other blade to use with the blade i use everyday. one trick is, don't remove that gasket to clean it but make sure it stays in there. Just soak it and scrub it good, to make sure it stays seated in there.

If the gasket comes loose while you are grinding, the lid will come loose in the base and sometimes causes you to not be able to get the jar from the base. you have to turn the jar the opposite direction to get the lid to tighten up, then you can remove the jar from the base.

I am trying to get replacement jars since those plastic nobbies that run the blender have broken off. It is down to one of 3 nobbies, so it can't be run anymore. I mght just have to buy a brand new blender but it seems so wasteful.

Blender seems to run right until you put glass jar on.runs very slow.

Hi,
Disassemble the base from the jar, and check the placement of the gasket. Reassembly, with the jar upside down is gasket, blades, then base. While disassembled, rotate the blades by hand just to make sure that they aren't in a bind. Replace if defective.

We have the Hamilton 12 speed blender and we can't figure out how to put the blande and the seal on the botto of the jar.

The rubber gasket goes between the jar and the blade assembly, and then the base screws on to hold them all in place.
