Try grabbing a new needle assembly from http://www.lpgear.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=LG&Product_Code=CLASSICCSL9
Also, you can tape a penny to the back of the arm, will add enough weight to keep the arm from traveling all the way across the record.

Why can I not record to a CD from the "aux in" port?

Your question has not provided enough information. Are you trying to record vinyl onto a cd?
You cannot record onto a normal cd player. You need a cd burner(/recorder).
Vinyl turntables have a quieter output signal too so unless you have a device that has a phono (vinyl) input you will not be able to record your vinyl. If you have a laptop then the easiest way to record vinyl onto cd is to buy a soundcard that has phono input. You can then use free software (programme) like audacity to record your vinyl and covert it to a format (wav aiff or mp3) to burn to cd using iTunes or Windows Media player.

CD player skips even though the same cd does not skip in other cd players

The laser in the cd player is most likely faulty or dirty. Buy a cd laser cleaner.

I need phongraph needle

If you look at the cartridge it should have a make and model number on it. If you put that into Google the stylus should show up.

How do i replace radio cassette player with a cd player mazda 6 2002

Don't replace it. Go to Walmart and buy an adapter. It is usally at the check out somewhere and It cost about $5.00. It has a cassette that goes into the cassette player. Then you plug your ipod or whatever into the attached wire. Doesn't look cool but it works and it is inexpensive. The adapters with the cd player attached skip (we had one 20 years ago) so just buy the new kind of adapter for less and play all your up to date gadgets. Put your cd songs on your ipod or iphone. Our son uses one in his truck with his little ipod shuffle. No cd player needed.

The Radio,Cassette Player/Recorder. and CD Player all work. The Phonograph Does Not!

if it arrived by mail then the sender might have screwed the transit screws down to avoid damaging the phono , i am not familiar with memorex but if like most turntables there should be some big screw heads visible on the top of the phono or possibly even under the platter all you have to do is unwind the screws until the platter unit moves freely [you should be able to push it up and down a little bit ]

Cassettes being ejected automatically

The belts are probably shot in the cassette player that's 13 years old. You can probably buy another radio like it and just change out the cassette portion if you are a good electro-mechanical person.
