I have had my Acer for about 6 month now and just today I opened it up and tried connecting to the internet. I go to the wireless connection screen and there are no connections available. I then check the little satelite icon that is the WLAN on off switch and it says it is enabled. When i click the "Diagnose why Windows can"t find any networks" button a message saying that i need to turn on my wireless capability switch. The message says "this can be done by using a switch, which is usually found on front or side of the computer, or a function key combination. I have looked for a switch on the front/bottom/sides/top/back and found nothing and there is nothing I am sure of that. I have also went into network connection and found a little red X next to the Wireless network connection even after i turn the WLAN on and off Via the satelite thumbnail. So if someone could tell me why my wireless is not working and how i can fix it that would be great.

just activate your laptop wireless connection by putting on with the button or manually by in network properties then put the security code of your wireless router when he ask you.
