Sony Ericsson K850i Touch Screen Problem

Hello,
I was in a club celebrating a birthday party.. dancing. The phone is in my pants pockets as always. After we came out from the club, I checked my phone and the Touch buttons on the screen are not working.
I restarted the phone for few times but nothing changed. PLEASE... PLEASE help me to get my phone back.

What should I do?? Will I have to replace the display?

the touch screen icons are activating themselves!! i don't have to press them, is this a sodtware problem? and if so how can i fix it??

i dropped my k850i and the touch screen keeps activating its self or when i touch a button it activates the touch screen

My se k850i has broken many times...i always have to sent the phone for repair because the sensitive touch button and the screen always broken...

Consider using a phone case if you are not already doing so. The slight amount of padding may be just enough to help the phone last longer between service. Results from looking on google suggest that this phone has a tendency to have issues with the touch display. Not much mention of the "mouse" though.

The media button on my k850i wont work when i us the touch screen, but it always turns on when i us the keypad?

Perhaps the connection got clog up and mixed up. Try opening your front phone cover and wipe it.

the mobile has to trip at the service point. please go to the repairer and tell him to trip it......it was helped my mobile....

I also have a Sony Ericsson K850I and dropped in the water.

you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried
