I have an alba LCD tv approx 2 years old, has been tuned to freeview. and working with no problems for a long time
Today it has stopped picking up any digital channels, there is sound of one channel but the picture jumps and is not viewable, tv does not respond to my remote trying to change channels or manually the buttons on the side, I have tried to pull up the menu but this also isn't showing on the screen so I am unable to attempt to retune or anything
Would be very grateful for any ideas as to why its suddenly done this?
Thanks

jotvguy just wondering, is there definitely power in these outlets ? Have you tried a lamp or something else to prove you have power at the wall outlet?
I think this is one of the TV's that wont work as part of the Digital Switchover as it's too old. My Brother has the same TV and has had to buy a new Set top box to get Freeview.
Press the [i+] button on the remote control to display the DIGITAL INFO menu.
Press the BLUE button to display the MAIN MENU.
Press the UP or DOWN buttons to highlight AUTO TUNING then press the OK button to display the AUTO TUNING MENU.
Press the RED button to start the auto tuning process for all available digital channels.
Wait for the process to complete.
If you wish to CANCEL the auto tuning process whilst it is processing then press the BLUE button at any time. You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW.
