Washer does not spin clothes - only slowly or not at all

Will not spin clothes dry - it seems to try but hardly spinning at all sometimes. Sometimes it won't spin at all

I resolved the same problem yesterday. Funny, it did not cost a penny to fix. After moving the machine away from the wall I noticed two screws that were laying there and after removing the body of the machine found that only 1 of the 3 screws that were holding the housing (for what I assume was the transmission or belt drive) was still in place. I screwed in the 2 screws and it worked fine again.

Will not spin

sounds like you have a door lock problem, maybe the wax motor is not working properly of the spin switch is bad. You may have a problem with the motor controller also. Kind of hard to tell you how to trouble shoot on internet, unless you just want to replace parts till it works, call for service.
