Sanyo Model AVM-1304 This TV has a loud mechanical "chatter" (or clicking)that appears to be coming from RL001 on the motherboard as soon as ther TV is turned on. I can feel the mechanical vibration on the component. The Picture and sound are very good. The chassis is G6Y-13040. Any ideas? Car doesn't start. when ignition is turned (new ignition) I hear a relay chatter and my horn sounds intermittely, Battery is new & tested goo

The chatter is due to low voltage. Check all the connections. The battery may have corrosion that lowers the voltage.

Loud buzzing sound on Sanyo AVM 1909

I had a problem like that so I disabled the tv's onboard tuner (input source)and now we use the cablebox's video and audio out to the video and video in jacks on the TV this will work as long as you have a cable box or sat reciever for your video and audio source and of course your TV must have video and audio inputs so it will work.

My 98 ZX2 has what sounds like valve clatter

The fuel injectors in the ZX2 are very loud. They have a high metallic clicking sound. This is often mistaken for valve chatter but since we don't have adjustable valves, you likely don't have chatter.

My Sanyo 31'' TV- model AVM-3155[purchased 2/96] does NOT have a picture or sound when 1st turned on . There is snow & loud static. After awhile the picture & sound come on intermittently until...

now those tv cann't use without a digital converter box .call your cable provider for assistance

try to fine tune your tv using the remote control, or, if you had knowleged in electronics adjust the sound IF transformer using a wood stick or plastic don't use a metal in adjusting the IF

HUMMING/CHATTERING NOISE ON SANYO TV

Confirmation: Lee2fixit's solution also worked on a Sanyo 19" TV Model DS19580with 'buzzing relay'. Chassis carriessimilar relay (Type DG1U 12VDC II TV-5 8A 250V~ also by DEC) at location RL601and a 25VDC 470uF electrolytic cap at C622. After confirming the relay was sound and finding no obviously faultedcomponents tied to it, replaced the cap. Bingo, normal operation and a quiet relay. Will post a follow-up ONLY if the fix failsbefore the rest of the TV .. it's almost10 years old after all. Thank youLee2fixit and FixIt.com.
