Getting our of "repeat"

Somehow, my mps player went into a "repeat" mode and I can't get it out. I have put "shuffle" on, but that is changed to "repeat" when I am ready to play. I have to manually change the song after hearing the previous note. thanks. gerry studier

No trouble, here's how to turn SHUFFLE on or off:

Music Submenu
To enter the Music Submenu, press and hold the OK/VOL button for 3 seconds.

Repeat
To adjust your repeat mode, select "repeat". You can select Sequence, repeat one, repeat all, shuffle, or shuffle and repeat.

If you set the play mode to shuffle. It should shuffle whatever you are playing, be it All Music, An album or a playlist.

you can set the player to shuffle by pressing the "M" button. from the menu choose "Repeat" mode press "Previous/Next" to scroll through the options until you get to "shuffle". [Press "Play/Pause" to confirm and press M to return to sub menu.

Is there a way to put the device on shuffle mode?

There is a random setting rather than a shuffle mode. Same thing just a different name.
While in the play mode menu press "PREV/NEXT" to select the desired repeat mode ie.
Normal, Repeat One, Repeat All, Random, Random All, Preview.
You want to choose "Random" or Random All" depending on
Random - All music is played randomly until all songs have been heard.
Random All - All music will play randomly until you turn the MP3 player off.

When I put music on my MP3 it shuffles it self I don't want them shuffling please can u give some advise to stop this problem. thank you.

Media players usually can play music depending on the play mode settings. One of these settings is the "shuffle". You can change this with the menu key then choose settings, then repeat mode and set it to mode normal or repeat all.
This advise is general and if you couldn't use it, please try to find instructions in the user manual of your device or if you haven't it define the exact type of the product.

How can i get my music in shuffle mode?

It depends on the model. Usually receivers don't have this option because they only receive and mix the sound. The CD player will have the shuffle option. Usually the MODE or PLAYBACK function will toggle through the options of shuffling, repeating all, repeating one, or sequential mode.

Hello,
For the smpv-4gbeb the shuffle function is called random.
Go into menu1-MUSIC.
Now go into the submenu REPEAT mode.
In the repeat mode select S for shuffle playback music.

Hold Down The M (Menu button) Scroll down to settings, select play mode. Exit out of he menu, press the user button until the squiggly cross with the A appears. Whalaaa you're in shuffle Mode. I hope this was a detailed solution.
