Connect to the audio out of the TV, assuming you have a RCA audio out (red/white) on the TV. (Audio out of the TV to one of the Audio in of the SC-DT100)
If you are competent with electrical equipment, remove the back of the tv and check the power supply pcb (board connected to the mains lead). Check the capacitors, making sure that they all have flat tops, and are not bulging. If they are, replace them. Here is a picture of a couple of faulty capacitors to show you waht they shouldnt look like.
ON SCDT100 has only TV/AUX IN the flat cable is only for Panasonic Devices, so you only option has TV/AUX IN,you need the comb. AV cable from WD media player and connect to TV/AUX INPUT
That is a hard brand to get service on. Am I correct in understanding that the model number is PT5598HD? Could you look at the back and see if it list waht chassis number it is.I will try to locate some info to try to help you with your problem.
Hi, when you say it doesn't work, will it just not play/read the disc? Mine has to be "initialized" every time or it shows "No Disc". To initialize I turn the unit on then press and hold "Stop" on the unit and the "10-" button on the remote, then it works fine.
