On the back of the game it says Wireless DS,Single Card,Download Play on one box and Wireless Ds, Multi-Card,Play. Whats the difference and can it be downloaded?
What does it mean when it says Wireless Ds, Single Card, Download Play for DS such as on Mario&Sonic at the Olympic Games?
Re: on the back of the game it says Wireless DS,Single...
It means that multiple people can play the game wirelessly, and only one person needs to own the game. Other friends can connect to your DS via wifi, and they'll download what they need from you so that they can play as well.

In the game there should be a multiplayer menu. From there you should be able to decide whether or not it's a multi-card game. If not then have the other player go onto the "DS Download Play" tab in the start menu and tap on the game that he/she wants to play.
it depends on the game option if it is capable of hosting multiplayer, using only a single card...if it does..activate it as a host and then let the other player download the game...play it enjoy
I am assuming you a choosing mario & Luigi from the menu screen. When doing this, you don't conect to the internet, this is for gameplay between 2 people using 2 different DS's in the same room together. you can do multi or singular card play. (multi you both go to Mario & Luigi and choose multi card play. Singular card play one goes to Mario & Luigi and chooses single card play, the other person chooses ds download play from the ds menu) You can find out if a game uses the internet access by looking on the cover, it will have a blue circle with the words Wi-Fi in it.
First, it depends on what game it is, NOT ALL GAMES have a DS Download feature.
If you are using a game with the DS Download feature, have the host DS set up the game, this would just be going through the multiplayer then DS Download function.
Next, make sure you both are in the same area (10 or so feet), basically if you can be in the DS Chat with your Local Wireless Connection, you can use your DS Download feature.
While the host DS is sending the signal, the other DS will have a feature in the main DS menu (If you have auto-start on, hold start while starting up the DS and going past the warning screen), it will be called DS Download Play.
Have the person receiving the signal click that option and their DS will search for any games being sent in the general area. Then all the person with the receiving DS has to do is click the icon and he/she will connect with the hosting DS.
The receiving DS will not keep the game on the hardrive on the DS, but he/she will be able to play with you; your best bet however is to get a second cartridge, but that part is your call.
If its possible can you get a new multi game card? If not if the warranty is still good take it back for a new ds, or you could always send it in but it takes 2-3 weeks for repairs.
If whatever Baseball game you have has single card download play then activate its download play option from the menu in the game. Then have the other player search for the software you're hosting. If it doesn't have download play, then you can't play like this.
