Bose Acoustimass 8 pin Cable

I bought different part of Bose Acoustimass to make a complete system. The subwoofer has an audio input in the form of a circular 8 pins. I'm not sure if i can use this with any other system than the Bose LifeStyle Series. If there is a way, please help.

same thing here, anybody know where to get a wiring diagram of the acoustimass 9 series din that hooks up into the sub? that way I can make one?

I'm figuring how to hook up the same subwoofer to a Pioneer VSX815-K 7.1 Channel stereo receiver to no avail. Can't find where to hook serial data input and analog plugs.

Which pins on a 13 pin plug for a bose powered acoustimass 25 series II module would i use just for subwoofer

I know this is late but might help someone plus I had to repair the audio input cable going from my acoustimass 25 series II to the Lifestyle 5 receiver. The 13 pin connecter cable terminates to 2 RCA jacks (red/white) one 3.5 mm jack and a female RCA which is the digital sound source. looking at the connector with the 13th pin on the bottom, I reference the pins from 1-13 starting at the top left:

PIN 1 RCA (RED) center conductor
PIN 2 RCA (RED) sleeve
PIN 3 RCA (digital) sleeve
PIN 4 RCA (digital) center conductor
PIN 5 RCA (WHITE) sleeve
PIN 6 not used
*PIN 7 3.5mm RING (?????)
PIN 8 3.5mm SLEEVE
PIN 9 RCA (WHITE) center conducto
PIN 10 not used
PIN 11 not used
PIN 12 3.5mm TIP
PIN 13 not used

* the 3.5 mm stereo jack is used for system control on the back of the lifestyle 5 receiver, the cable that terminates to the 3.5mm is a 3 conductor cable that terminates to PIN 8 & PIN 12 but PIN 7 only has continuity from the pin itself to the white cable (within the 3.5mm cable) but not all the way through to the 3.5mm ring (where i would assume it to terminate). Maybe this is where my problem is, I don't know but I spliced the cable right before the 3.5mm jack and there was continuity between PIN7 and the white cable that corresponds to the 3.5mm jack I just dont know where its terminating too. If anyone can confirm that it is supposed to terminate to the ring of the 3.5mm connector I would appreciate it.

Where can i find a bose 15 pin input cable for the acoustimass model?

Try eBay. Lots of Bose cables. Search engines provide faster answers than tossing something like this out to us for a possible answer.

Need new system input cable for acoustimass 10

I've made a diagram of my serial cable. You can easily make one with some speaker wire and a 15-pin d-type female serial connector. Solder the wires as shown in the diagram.

Bose audio input receiver cable 15 pin

You can buy it on ebay but it's cheaper just to make one. If you can solder, all you need is a female 15-pin d-type connector and a bunch of speaker wire. Here is a diagram of the connections.

How to start a Bose acoustimass 9 powered subwoofer

The Bose cube systems are SYTEMS for a very good reason. They're made for people who want good sound but don't want to manipulate the hardware much. The speakers and amps are designed for each other ONLY, not only electrically but through soundshaping to provide the smooth final result. The design is for you to feed the electronics a Line Level source and the magic and distribution happens internally. These are NOT mix 'n' match components. The special connectors are a clue. The 'different' amplifier will probably blow them up.

Here's a diagram of the 15-pin serial input cable that came with my Acoustimass 10 IV system. You just need a 15-pin female d-type connector, one RCA connector and a lot of speaker wire. Here's my diagram:
