If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7, your sync settings will be managed through Windows Mobile Device Center.

If you have Windows XP SP3, your sync settings will be managed through ActiveSync which can be downloaded from MS website.

Take a look at the time settings on the PC, and when you sincronyze the phone it synchronizes the time automatically. Also, see the sinchronizing options on your HTC program, it might be set to sinchronize the time with PC.
Go online and in Google type in "htc sync" then download the version for your operating system example: windows 7/vista/xp/98 or mac, then install and see if that works for you

Please make it a habit to backup your data every fortnight. Once deleted it goes. It is not a Windows PC which has a recycle bin. That is why it does warn you before deleting an item.
So, backup in future to avoid such situations. Presently nothing can help you.
If it is Vista operating system in the computer then it will definite detect on the PC. And if it is Windows XP operating system in oyur computer then you need to installing the software from teh disc that you have got with your htc P3450. Hope it make sense........... Thanx
hey.. hey.. if ur using Vista, then there is no need of Active Sync!! Go to Control Panel and check the Sync Center. This will help you in connectin your device to your PC.
if you run vista it will not recognise the drivers, you will need to download an update from HTC or from your mobile operator.
