SOURCE: unit beeps several times and gives warning symbol does not start

I have a Mitsubishi air con that has broken down like this twice because gecko's have gotten in and shorted it out. We had to have the circuits replaced at $1000 a pop. I think it can short out after a lightning storm too.

PF codes tend to signal a power failure. But if you don't have power it shouldn't have flame either. A red flame tends to be lack of air flow. Check your breaker panel to ensure the breaker isn't tripped. Turn it off, wait a few seconds and turn it back on. Sometimes they may be tripped but not look like it. Also, if the power is fine and your getting a red flame, check your flue pipe termination points to ensure they aren't blocked.

Kitchaid electric range display PF what to do

PF indicates a Power Failure. Turn off the power supply (for 30 seconds or more) to the unit and then back on, select/touch the range cancel/clear pad and reset the clock. The range should work again, unless there was damage to the control during the power interruption.

What PF code means?

Hi,
The PF code means power failure....
either the power going to the unit flickered and went out for a split secong or the wiring is bad to the control/circuit board and is giving you that code...

Reset the unit and see if it happens again... it probably is there because of a slight power problem from your utility co.

DISPLAY SAYS "PF"

HI, there may have been a power surge that shut this unit down or, the junction box may be shorting the power sector. this will damage the main control in this case. i recommend shutting the power off by, pulling the unit plug from the wall socket or, shut the circuit breaker off. let the unit sit for 5 minutes without any power. this will reset the logic chip.

Power the unit back up after this 5 minute wait to see if the reset worked. if the PF is still present, this will confirm a main control fault. replace the control in this case.

**check the power cord junction point for worn connections.

Kenmore Elite HE3 Dryer PF on control panel,

HI, there may have been a slight power failure within the home breaker unit or the dryer may have lost power to the control for some sort of reason.

I recommend a thorough inspection of the terminal block on the back side of this unit. make sure the power cord is attached tightly and the wall outlet is secure and holding the power cord correctly. if everything looks great with the terminal block and the power cord is plugged in the outlet correctly, simply unplug this unit for 5 minutes to reset the control. after the 5 minutes are up, plug the unit in once more and the PF alert should reset.

Make sure the breaker box in your home is working properly. (the actual breaker switch for the dryer must be in the on position)

But to answer your question here is what the difference between the green light and the red light are:
1. X-Band Signal Indicator—A green LED lights and blinks to
indicate the presence of an X-band radar signal. The blink rate
increases as the radar source gets closer. A distinct audio alert is
also heard.

distinct audio alert is also heard.
4. Laser Signal Indicator— A red LED under L lights and blinks to
indicate the presence of a laser signal. A distinct audio alert is also
heard.
5. SWS Signal Indicator— When an early warning hazard or
informational signal is detected, the yellow SWS LED begins to
blink and the amber K-band LED lights. A distinct audio alert is
also heard.
6. Power-On Indicator— A green LED under P lights to indicate
power is being supplied to the unit and the unit is turned on.
7. LED Signal Strength Meter—Four LEDs give an accurate visual
indication of the strength of radar or laser signals.
8. City Mode Indicator—A green LED under C lights to indicate
that you selected City Mode.
9. Auto Mute Indicator— A red LED under M lights to indicate that
you selected the Auto Mute feature.

Please make sure you give me a rating and I hope this helps,
