We have recently moved one of our GE Pro Series phones to a different office and when plugged back in, it shows "AC Off" flashing and will only connect to one line and also the line light does not light. Is there a reset exercise or reconfiguration necessary and how do I do that?
Remove the plastic speed dial card covering and the speed dial card. Press "program" with a pen tip. Press the intercom button. The lcd display says "address-xx" (probably out of range). Type in a new 2-digit address within range (the number of phones you have), probably 01, 02, 03 or 04. Then press the # key. The intercom light should turn green, and there you have it.

Apparently you have the answering machine turned off.
When speakerphone is OFF (not in TALK mode), press flash/program button and CID VOL(+) / CID VOL(-) arrow keys to move the pointer > to point at ANSWER ON/OFF, press flash/program button to show SET ANSWERER ON OFF. Use the CID VOL(+) / CID VOL(-) arrow keys to select ON. If you need one, you can download the manual here.
This usually means the phone is not receiving enough power. You either have a power issue in the electrical of the new room or the power adapter is not functioning correctly. Try plugging the phone back into the old office to see if it comes up correctly, if it does their is some sort of issue with the electrical supply in the new room. If you have another conference phone try using that power adapter on the non-working phone.
On your cable box it where your regular phone is plugged in, you need to take a regular phone cable and cut it, take that Green and Red wire to the series jack green and red... and take the yellow and black back to a phone jack. now plug your phone in that jack and it should work just fine.
Hi, Looks like either the wiring is slightly different or the jack plug not quite with in the tolerance limit. Can you swap the cables between the units (if they are removeable) to eliminate the cable as well. I would suspect the cable on the new phone! I would also make sure there is no dirt on the connectors on the plug...there are minute grooves where you can see the meatl...sometinmes these get blocked!
just reading this forum I think I have bought a total POS. Damn! wich i would have read this first. This boat anchor has all of my backup on it, is only a month old and is now junk. What is this the 3rd world's way of collecting all of our data when we return them?
I called support - took forever to get through
Told to unplug phone line, batteries, and AC, then wait 15 minutes.
Then reintall in order of batteries, then AC, then phone.
But once the AC gets plugged in, the light starts blinking again.
The technology of bluetooth with my cell is great, but the interface sucks and the light that won't properly recognize things is incredibly annoying. This one is going BACK....
