Philips cool skin shaver fault

Hi My shaver when switched on shows the shaver head symbol in red. Also the droplet symbol has lit orange. Any suggestions as to what I do to resolve the problem.

Same problem with the red shaver head light coming on.  i have cleaned it thoroughly, charged it up completely and lubricated with a special shaver spray.  Nothing so far has made the light go out.

The shaver head symbol means the motor isn't starting, which all the support info assumes is because the heads are too gunked up with hair and congealed moisturizer etc, so clean it. In my case it was because the motor had seized - I completely dismantled the razor and turned the cog attached to the motor spindle by hand while turning the razor on, which was enough to free it up and kickstart it - you'll need some torx screwdriver bits - remove the battery cover (it may be a bit sticky since it is wedged against a rubber seal that it may have stuck to, but it does just lift off, there's nothing to snap), remove the black plastic retainer underneath that which hides a couple of screws holding the head assembly (you may need to prise the battery up to get at them) - undo them and you should be able to pull the head assembly off and push the motor up from underneath to free the plate holding the three cogs driving the head - beneath that is a big cog attached directly to the spindle, spin that by hand while starting the razor and it should hopefully spring back into life since you'll have freed the seized spindle.

Running the unit for seven three minute intervals should reset the lights.

The cap of the refill & charge station has not been placed back on the refill & charge station after the refill bottle was placed in the docking station. Make sure you turn the cap clockwise. The battery might also have a cap on its charging, you may need to completely kill it, let it run all night till dead and completely recharge it, let it charge all day or night. A new battery may be needed. This is one thing. The droplet symbol indicates a build up of residue on the sensor. { made to prevent you from buying non philips cleaner} it sounds like a GOOD cleaning will help, ive posted the philips cleaning article on the shaver. http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/h/hq6761_33/hq6761
