I have a blockage causing the paper to jam on the far left hand corner ( as viewed from the front )whilst trying to feed through.
I suspect it is a bit of paper or something small like a staple, but it is out of sight which means I need to take the printer apart to find and remove it, but I cannot see how this is done.
So far, I have :
1) Removed the Scanner lid,
2) Removed the back paper support,
3) Removed the screws at the bottom of the three holes ( bottom left, bottom right, top right ) on the the main scanner part of the machine, and which appear to hold it to the body of the printer,
4) Disconnected the right hinge of the scanner part.
However, I cannot see how to release the left hinge. It looks like there is a similar screw to the right hand hinge, but I can see no way to get to it other than forcing a screw driver through the tiny gap in the plastic.
I assume this scanner part really does have to come off, as I can see no other way of removing the plastic main upper body, which I think must have to come off to give access to the printer mechanism.
However this seems to be held in place by a couple of tiny plastic pegs only a millimetre or two in diameter. Are these sealed in place or is it just matter of brute force?
Next question is the control panel on the left hand side. Does this need to come off? I have found the plastic clips on the left and released them, but there is clearly something else holding the panel in place.
Has anyone else had this problem?
How do I get the scanner lid off, and how do I remove the plastic upper body of the printer?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
I was not aware of the fixyourownprinter.com site, and one of the articles there included the following :
============================================ The hidden screws are on the button panel, unpeel the sticky label that covers the LEDs to reveal 3 screws. Remove the small panel top left to reveal the fixing screw for the left lid hinge (behind the white cable strip). Unplug all wires to scanner, remove upper screw on right lid hinge and remove scanner lid. This will allow access to the remaining 5 fixing screws. ============================================
I have not had a chance to follow this through yet (time very precious at the moment ) but this does look like the solution to my problem.
Thanks again,

my epson t13 doesnt feed any paper. when i was printing and run out of paper i put some paper on it but in dismay all of them feed all and it stopped. i tried to pull them out of the printer little by little. when i tried to continue my printing job it never feed any more. any help for this problem pls....
Its simple Just move printer head to the right whereever it is ..
Forcefully move to the right most of ur printer ..it will not damage ur printer but will solve ur problem...
Whne turn on, printer move to left and right for checking carriage track, and measure it. If "something" block carriage moving, printer error occured. Check left side of carriage track. Did you use CISS?
Look on the back of the unit, and you might see a panel that can be removed for just this sort of situation. try to bend or lift it out gently, and you may be able to see the paper from there. Also, make sure the cartridges are taken out before you try to dislodge the paper, they might be blocking the jammed paper from your view. Needle nose pliers work great for getting out paper if you can't reach it with your fingers.
See if you can turn the printer upside down and shake it. sometimes the new ink is bad. go to epson.com and look around, you can call them. I would get the hand book for your printer and read it.
