I have a GE Profile side by side, and when the fan is running, it emits a high pitched whining sound. I vacuumed all of the dust out, and it got a little better, but it's still annoying. Any suggestions?

If the sound is from the compressor, the unit is likely under warranty...generally 5 years. If the unit is frozen up and the sound is from a fan that is hitting ice, defrost the unit completely. Other fans in the unit could also be squealing. You'll have to be a detective.
My delay start switch does not work and the dishwasher beeps periodically throughout the day. Also, I have it set for a 109 minute cycle and after about 20 minutes it says that I only have 35 minutes left in the cycle! Any suggestions?
