Bought just over two years ago from walmart. it just died. no power. we do not have a tv repair on our area so I thought i try to find someone to walk me through it.
Ok you are going to need these items before we begin. digital multimeter, and the schematic of your set. These items are the bare necessities for troubleshooting this problem. If you are uncomfortable around electricity, don't even attempt troubleshooting the set. Ok the thing you need to do first is: 1) get the schematic of the TV set (Call the manufacture to get this) 2) get a digital multimeter (your local radio shack will have this) 3) take picture of the circuit board so as I can have a visual guide by which to help you locate components. 4) send me a copy of the scematic so as I can guide you through the troubleshooting procedure. Ok get these items and we can begin.
