  1. Do one of the following:
    • Connect a camera to your computer by using the camera's USB cable, and then turn on the camera.
    • Connect a portable device that contains pictures or videos to your computer by using the device's USB cable, and then turn on the device.
    • Insert a removable flash memory card, such as a Secure Digital (SD) or CompactFlash memory card into a memory card reader.
    • Connect a scanner to your computer by using a USB cable, and then turn on the scanner.
    • Insert a data CD or DVD that contains pictures or videos into your CD/DVD drive.
  2. In the AutoPlay dialog box that appears, click Import pictures and videos using Windows.
  3. To change the settings that are used when importing pictures and videos, click Import settings in the Import Pictures and Videos dialog box.
  4. Change one or more settings in the Import Settings dialog box, and then click OK.
  5. Click OK to restart Import Pictures and Videos. Type a tag in the Tag these pictures (optional) box, and then clickImport to import your pictures and videos using the new settings.

For updates make sure that the time and date are correct, if it doesn't match what time it actually is , it wont update, and make sure your OS has been activated

My driver refused to install, i have a digital camera s860, i will like to download my pictures to my computer,

You don't need a driver. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as iPhoto on Mac or Windows Photo Gallery on Windows.

Why would photos disappear from memory card on fuji camera and can they be retreived?

there is a problem with digital cameras and using the usb ports on windows 7. win 7 has been reporting "no files found" or it wants to format the memory card!! this is wrong in both cases because the files are stil there it's just that win 7 refuses to recognise the the formatting of the devices. the work around for this issue is to use a memory card reader. i had this problem myself. just do not reformat your memory card or you will loose your pictures!!!

My new PC works with Windows 7 64 bits. Can I install ArcSoft Suite that was associated with my DMC-FZ20 (bought in 2004) ?

You can try but I'll bet your system will refuse the installation. You won't hurt anything by trying. Go to the support section of the Panasonic website. They have lots of free software downloads and you might find an updated one to fit your needs.

Hi,

Follow the below steps exactly (Step by Step) to install it and you shouldn't have a problem.

For Windows XP and Windows 7

1.) Install Driver delivered with the Reader. Do NOT install Integold Driver/SDK that might come with the Reader!
Do not allow Windows to search for Driver Updates on Microsoft, and refuse to use automatically downloaded Microsoft Driver!
2.) Update driver and Firmware with the latest downloads from Digital Persona Site:
http://www.digitalpersona.com/support/downloads/software-updates/reader-engine/
As of today, you should download and install the following packages:
dp00_02_004.zip
and
dp00_02_003.zip
3.) Download and install Free Digital Persona OneTouch for Windows SDK:
http://www.digitalpersona.com/embedded/sdk/one-touch-for-windows/

Important! Reboot Computer after each installation!

I hope this helps! Have a great day!

Best Regards,

James

How can i defined wireless driver for acer model aspire 3050 for windows 7 ?

http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_3050.html
select and download and run teh driver for windows vista ..they are very compatible for windows 7 ..and usually work without problems ..make sure you select it on 64 if you run such a operation system ..
If the driver refuses to install ..just click right on the set-up icon ..and select properties ..and compatibility ..and tick the case and select to run it in compatibility with windows vista ..It will try to install ..it may refuse but will offer to run it in compatibility settings ..and you will have no further issues..Pay attention on future automatic updates and do not install any driver for it unless you are sure its the correct one ..
