check the red guns crt base socket . may be it have some problem. when u change the crt base try to change all the three guns base socket.

Not any amplifiers problems.The problem u having it known as covergence problems,it dead.The tv colors lines R,G,B mis alignment,have colors pictures shadows or 3D look like pictures.The tv convergence board the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead.These parts,must be replaced on the convergence board to solved the picture convergence problems.The Shop,will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.

I'm going to assume that the "lights" are images on the screen that seem to have a multi colored shadow. Within the menu there's a choice for convergence, when selected this gives a white cross centered in the screen. Using the arrow keys on the remote (left-right for vertical movement and up/down for horizontal) you will adjust the color that is "shadowing" or get all the colors aligned so the white cross has no trailing red or blue either horizontally or vertically. If you can't get it to adjust or there is no effect then repair is probably the only option.

Check your convergence, Using your original remote go to the Menu, in the settings select convergence, try to align the colors to each other.

The most likely cause is shorted convergence chips and possibly a few pico fuses.

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony,Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.

my sony kp-57wv600 is showing a ghost of the image in all three colors.. anyone no how i can fix

the tv needs to have a convergence done on it to realign the picture..the colors have to be set a certain way or it will show shadows and it will only get worse

i'm having a problem keeping the timer from going off and shutting the whole tv off.
