Question about Hitachi 43FDX15B 43" Rear Projection Television
The most likely cause for this is a problem with the convergence circuit. This consist mainly of 2 ICs and a set of resistors. It does take some skils with soldering and electronics to replace the ICs and resistors. The 'convergence kit' is available from some web based electronic stores which includes 2 ICs - STK392-150 and a set of resistors. The authorized Hitachi supplier is Tritronics, but may be available at your local electronics supply stores. Hope this helps. clickace

The problem I am having is that green color is almost non-exixtant, as well as being out of line with the others. There is a slight green ghost at all times. I have cleaned the lenses and mirror. Also I loosened the adjusting wingnuts and tried to align and focus all 3 lenses. The red and blue look great, better than new. The only way to stop the green ghosts is to completely block the green lense. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. you can reach me at [email protected]
