Ddcorbin.... lift the cover... on the left side of the plate is a long black glass strip. wipe that glass strip with a soft towel. i used windex. the black mark should be go away.

Locate and check the printer drum. You should be able to see the mark that is causing the line on your page. It could be s scratch or a ring of toner that the wiper is not picking up because a nick or something under it. Try cleaning the drum with a very soft dry cloth and inspect it again. If the mark is still there the drum will have to be replaced. Do Not Try To Clean The Drum With Any Type Of Solvent!
There are two things possibile, first the waist container is full so you need to empty this.
Second for some reason the printer driver is demaged and you need to replace the driver, now there are two ways to do this, first you use your original printer cd is with the printer at the day of purchase, second you can go to the web; open google and write "samsung printer SCX 4725fn" open the side of samsung and chose the newest print driver version for your printer and download it for installation to your computer; then do the same with the scanner driver and install them both on your computer, now check the funktion.
I posted this on a separate inquiry, but I feel it benefits to post twice. I deleted all the Samsung SCX 4725fn PCL6 drivers from the computers using the printer and loaded in from Samsung's website a Universal Print Driver. This took care of that pesky EOJ page and the print jobs come out great. Good luck!
you may try uninstall the driver and reinstall the new driver from samsung website. www.samsung.com
it might help to resolved this issue. make sure that after you install the driver do a test print and set the paper size to a4 as default it is set to letter.
