I need a brush up course in how to replace an alternator and the tensioner on a 1993 Nissan 300ZX. Anyone out there that can help me? Thanks!
I have replaced my alternator on my Z without a lift, and it can be done...getting it out is the east part...its getting it back on thats the killer..more or less the hardest part is getting the top of the alternator to fit back inbetween the mounts and getting the bolt through..this is the 2nd time ive had to take it out, and im stuck at this part again....GL!
If you don't have access to a lift forget it. Take it somewhere and have it done. Unless you have 5 hours to waste.
