how do i get to solution number 129?

  • Anonymous Apr 12, 2009

actually nicholas, i can only put 7.6 gigs of music on the 8gb sansa, because the.4 is allocated for the operating system. i thought it might've been a bug and went to the e drive and ran norton 360 on it to no avail. i then ran a chkdsk still nothing. thanks for your reply.

thanks again nicholas gray but the system would not let me access anything, i'm the one that couldn't get past the not enough space message.. the company instructed me to format the disc from my computer, and i did so, but they ;wouldn't restore the 30 day free trial period even though the problem had to have been on their end or their partners end....and i thought that really sucked because they then offered me the one month subscription for the 15.00 dollars. i felt like these cats were getter's. it's almost as if you're playin' russian roulette and if you download a bug...oh well, the bullet was in that chamber...lol

different files have different usage....the cpu needs so much memory to perform different actions (it's too in depth to explain)

But, delete some songs you rarley listen to (at least 30Megabytes) and hopefully it will work.

If it works, look into a memory card.

I had the same problem. I re-formatted the player, and now it works fine. Sure, formatting erases all the music, but at least it works now!

To format, just go to "My Computer", find your player in the list, right click on it, then select format.. you're done!
