Protron 32 with no power

I'm not sure how to describe the problem--it just won't turn on. I shut the power off of the power strip and then turn it back on and nothing. There does seem to be power to the tv because there is a red light on, but nothing seems to b working. No sound or picture. I've tried resetting the tv, but to no avail. BTW, this is the second tv by this company that I've bought. The first lasted about 7 months, and this noe lasted about 15 months. Needless to say I won't be buying from this company again. Very frustrated here.

Is the blue light on the blax box ( ac adapter) on? Mine just went as well.... if its not on you need a new ac adapter... Mine overheated, vents got clogged with dust, this is the second one that went on me ... but the TV is fine

Tv wont come on

make sure it's fully plugged in. if it still won't work, then it's your wall plug or your tv

Try a different outlet. Or, if it is plugged into a surge strip, plug directly into wall.

Tv was working and then it wasn't. went to turn it on and the power came on briefly and shut off, . won't even show any power lights at all. tried changing power supply no help

Today got a package from Protron. replacement power supply that they sent me free. Problem is they sent one for a pltv32 and mine is a pltv3250, got the wrong one. 32 is external and 3250 is internal

The tv powered up was on for a few minutes then shut off now it wont do anything. No standby light on power button or anything.

Power supply board is dead.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I have a Protron 32 in LCD TV. There is no power....

First make sure it does have at least red indicator on the front panel, if not, the standby +5vdc is not working, coomon problem with this monitor is dead power supply due to bad caps, shorted transistor and Zener Diode in the standby power supply.

My tv won`t go on, maybe a fuse blew [if it has any fuses]can you help? I`ve heard lcd tvs have fuses.i went and bought another tv, I do`nt know if it`s worth paying to get it fixed at a tv repair shop...

YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIX IT YOURSELF if your handy with tools , if not then to a tv repair shop , hope it helps ,AJ

My Protron PLTV3250 32 in tv just turned itself off..wont turn back on

Your power supply is dead. You can get one from POWER-ON.COM for about $64.00 including shipping and handling. My 32 inch went dead after only one year and I just got a new power supply and it works fine.
