Hi, It is problem of lcd screen that will be replaced to get correct picture view. Local camera repair shop will replace it or if you have expertise then can replace lcd screen by yourself. Let me know if you need part number of lcd screen for DSC-S930 camera. Thanks.
Hi there its repairable. But your question not so clear. If the image come proper but the LCD screen is white then the problem occur in LCD screen. So just replaced the screen. But after click the snap if that's white or dark ( no image ) then your lens connection or lens only damaged. So please let me know the image is came or not. Both are repairable. Thanks & waiting for your feedback.
You either have a bad LCD screen or a poor connection of the LCD flex cable to the camera system board. What you are seeing is the backlight of the LCD with no image.
Ok, first of all......when you transfer the pictures to a computer are the blue lines still in the picture? Also if you reset the camera does the image still come out white?
A lot of times what happens is that there is nothing wrong with the actual picture it is the lcd. When you transfer the picture it looks ok you are only seeing the blue lines on the lcd. That means that the lcd is going out. If you transfer the picture and the blue lines are still in the picture after transfer then we can try to reset the camera as there is something else going on besides the lcd. More that likely it is just an lcd that needs to be replaced.
With a white image that usually means that the white balance is off on the camera. I would recommend resetting the camera and then try retaking some pictures to see if they are still coming out white. If they are then you would have to send the camera in to be repaired.
Defective ccd imager!! company will replace this ccd imager free of charge. Year 2002 up to 2005 released unit has a factry defect ccd imager. the company recalled these unit and replaced with a stronger version of ccd imager( they are still doing it). check it out.
I have Fuji FinePix 2650 Digital camera with same problem. I can almost guarantee this is not a firmware problem. I went mountain biking a few months ago and take pictures. I take out camera and turn on. I get lines then white screen. I banged on camera and fixed it. Later a few weeks ago I turn it on and white screen. i beat this thing and get bad menu selection screen for a moment then white again. It takes pictures well and talk to computer no problem but no LCD picture. I thinking it is loose connection for LCD. Send it for repair or if you seek adventure try to fix it yourself!
