Question about Thermador 37 in. SGSX365 Gas Cooktop

Obsolete Thermador We do not have a 37" Thermador, we have a 36", model number SGSCV36GS. We had a repairman look at our cooktop and he stated that our cooktop is obsolete and he doesn't know where to find the parts for it. It's only 10 years old, and I find it hard to believe that parts are unavailable for it. We cannot remove the brass manifold that carries the gas from the orifice to the burner. Do you have any suggestions as to how we could possibly remove this piece and do you know anyone that may sell them? Thank you in advance for any help or advice you may have to offer.

We have a different problem with our Thermador device, but the same problem with the company. I own a CGB-29 indoor bbq. Even thought I bought this item for my kitchen only 10 years ago, I cannot buy a new spark ignition module. Please let me know if you figure out a way to buy discontinued parts.

Go to Thermador.com, click on service, then purchase parts. This will take you to Quick Finder. Now you can look up the part and see if it is really NLA. Now to remove the venture (that is the brass nut) you use a 20mm wrench to remove. If it is seized up then I use a step drill to drill it out and replace both it and the venture.

Take apart the cooktop and it is the potentior on the valve for the simmer burner that is usually the issue.
