Screen looks too yellow. Where is there a control button on monitor?

The screen is faulty or the screen cable has become dislodged. Best take it to a repair shop.

mcdevito75 here, Try to simply shut the monitor off at the monitor itself, Or with your computer shut down, disconnect and reconnect the monitor to the computer.

This page is for ACER products. Select the DISPLAY, the choose the correct model for your monitor. There select Guides and Manuals. When you get the PDF file open, look for ADJUSTING DISPLAY SETTINGS. (page 6)

This is what was one one product's manual. This is similar to what my HP monitor uses. Hope this helps.

Stereo Speakers
PC Audio Stereo output.

Speaker Volume Control
Increase Volume - Turn the knob clock wise.
Decrease Volume - Turn the knob counter clock wise.

DC Power Switch
Press the power switch to switch the monitor ON/OFF.

DC Power-On Indicator
LED lights Green color --- Power is ON.
LED lights Yellow --- Monitor is in "Power Saving Mode".
LED is off --- Power is OFF.

Function Select Buttons
Press either left or right control button for OSD (On Screen Display) menu selection.

Adjustment Control Buttons
Press the left button to decrease the OSD setting and press the right button to increase the OSD setting.

External Headphone Jack
The monitor speakers will be disabled when using an external headphone or external speakers.

First of all check your monitor's color configurations using the buttons in the monitor. Then, if colors are set to default, go to your GPU's control panel, usually found by right clicking your desktop and finding an option that says ie. Nvidia control panel. Go to video control settings and/or desktop color settings and either restore defaults or configure them yourself if you know what you are doing. Hope that helps.

there may 2 problems
1 ) Problem with the Data Cable connector the Pins might be damaged try to arrange them if disturbed / bend . if Broken change the connector.
2) Open the monitor see the soldering carefully you can locate out the dry solders easily by seeing the flux colour around it . just put the solder over there..by soldering gun to all places where u can see the dry solder.

Check and make sure that there is no speaker, power supply or UPS around your monitor.

You can adjust manually using the OSD (on-screen display) menu of you monitor by pressing menu button. Other monitor OSDs cannot be accessed on single button but some combination of buttons but considering it can be accessed, please look for it. Try also changing the properties at Operating System GUID (graphics user interface display) Control Panel Display or your monitors display monitor application software. Try changing the frequencies and other special features like single screen or wide screen, etc..
