To recording your greeting:
1. Set the Supervisor Password, if necessary.
2. Call a Conference Bridge extension.
3. When the Conference Bridge extension answers, dial the
Supervisor Password and #.

4. Press * to skip the setting verification mode.
5. Press # to change the system settings.
6. Skip the steps until the Customized Greeting option is played.
7. Follow the voice prompt and record a new Customized Greeting.

Step 1
Compose your message ahead of time. If not, you may end up stumbling, looking for the right words while you are recording your message or leaving out some important details. Composing your message before you begin recording will save you from having to record several messages before you find one with which you are satisfied.
Step 2
Make it easy for your callers to listen your message. Record your message in a relatively quiet room without background noise. Speak loudly and clearly. For the benefit of callers who don't have much time, make your message as brief and to the point as possible.

Begin the recording process by first locating the "Change" button on your answering machine. This button initializes the answering machine for adjustments to the settings of the various features.

Locate the microphone on your answering machine and lean towards it until you are about nine inches away.
Step 5
Locate the "Annc" button. Press and hold the "Annc" button until it beeps. Begin recording your message.
Step 6
Watch the message window while you are recording your message. It keeps track of how much time has elapsed since you began recording. You can record a message that is up to three minutes long.
Step 7
Locate the "Stop" button and press it when you have finished recording your message. The answering machine will play your message back at this point. If you are not satisfied with your message, repeat the steps to record it again.

Press "Annc" if you want to listen to your message again

What manual did you download, where is the message located, and what is it recorded on?
A 7433 phone is just a phone, it has no messages. It is connected to a TD-816/1232 Key Service Unit and a TVS/TVM/TVA voice mail system if it's Panasonic branded.
When you call in to the TD system, the voice mail answers the call and plays the Auto Attendant greeting. Is this the one you want to change? Or do you want to change the greeting that you get after the AA answers any they dial your extension?
Each of those messages can be changed from the Message manager's box or from your own mailbox, using the codes and passwords supplied at installation.
To retrieve a message from another location, dial the telephone number and when the greeting message starts punch in your four digit code. The default code is 0123 if you haven't set one. Follow the prompts to listen to messages.
Accessing the Answering System from another location.
from any touch tone phone by entering your 3 digit security code after you hear the outgoing message.
1. Dial the phone no. to which the answering system is connected to .
2. Enter the security code after you hear the tone.
3. Follow the voice menu to use the answering systems remote functions.
Review messages press 1
plack back messages press2
Stop message playback press 2 again
Erase message press 0 during playback
Skip message press 3
Turn off/on answer press 4
Review voice menu options press 7
Try just pressing down on the greeting button on the answering machine, you will hear the lady say "record greeting" and keep holdong down until you are finished recording the message. When you are done, remove your finger, done!
