Leaking faucet

I've had problems with the O-rings at the head leaking, feeding back inside the corrugated hose covering, and pooling under the sink. Might be your problem as well. Verify by holding the head downward, and look for water beading out further up the hose.

My Moen Chateau (older style) kitchen faucet is leaking under the cap that covers a black plastic part where the on/off lever attaches. I purchased and installed a new cartridge, but that didn't

Did you know Moen faucets are warranted for life? You should go to Moen's website to identify the faucet you have and then contact them directly. They will ask you when you purchased and / installed the faucet but will not ask for a receipt or other proof of purchase. If the faucet was installed by a previous owner and registered by them - that warranty will be void unless you installed the same faucet after you bought the home (renovation, etc.).

All parts and tech support are FREE from Moen and if your faucet is being phased out, they will offer you a choice of faucets from their current line up (similar to the one you have) for very short money (I paid less than $50 for mine).

Good luck!

Leaking diverter valve

is it a kitchen faucet or a tub faucet? if it a kitchen faucet it will be a cartridge issue, if it is a tub faucet it could be as easy as a o-ring or a separate cartridge. in any case the cartridges are usually in the main part of the handle and you usually have to take apart the faucet. i know this may sound funny but make sure you turn off the water to the faucet, you would be surprised how many people try to fix this with water on.

Moen two-handle kitchen faucet, 1990's model installed new a few years ago, is leaking underneath at the center where the spray hose would connect. I didn't use the hose, though. The nut was tight. It...

The nuts used for capping off the sprayer attachment will bottom out and not seal. Unless there is tape or thread compound on the nut, it can spray a tiny jet up under the faucet when the faucet is activated. If there is clearly water leaking from above that, then the o ring for the spigot may be failing and need replacing. If this is the case, it will only leak when the faucet is activated. There is always the possibility of a crack in the casting of the faucet body; hope not:)

the lines the cartage attaches to will have seals or teflon tap. if the seal has a small nick, it will leak. Or if the tape was applied in the incorrect dircection or was cut it could also creat a leak

All in one tub and shower has a leaking tub faucet, how do i take the whole all in one tub and shoer out, and how do i fix the faucet to the tub then put shower and tub back in(all in one piece).

When I went to take mine out I had to cut it in half. Before doing anything drastic are you sure there's no way you can excess the plumbing from the other side of the wall? Its a lot easier to patch drywall than pull a tub. The faucet and pipes should be attached to the studs in the wall and not really attached to your tub. I don't really know what part of your faucet is leaking.. Some parts you should be able to excess from the front without pulling your tub. If its from the down spout you could probably loosen a screw or allen head that's on the bottom pull it off replace it or replace the O'ring inside. I hope I have help out.
