Why wont my sharp lcd LC-32D44U turn on?

Well, there could a be few issues. First thing is to verify the breaker that gives power to that wall has not tripped off in the home's break power panel. If it is not tripped then verify the wall outlet that the TV is plugged into has a reset button, like a GFI (ground fault interrupt) If it does then verify that it has not tripped. If the GFI on the wall plug is tripped simply push the reset button back in and then try plugging in your TV power plug again. Then if that checks out or does not have a GFI outlet, verify that the power plug going into the back of the TV is not loose. Unplug and replug power plug that plugs into the back of the TV in and verify it is securely connected. Lastly, the power supply in the TV might have gone out.

The av2 input doesnt work

Look for any loose contacts in RC jacks/sockets/Cable. Connect another input on that input of the TV and check. Connect your ps3 to some other TV and check.

My terminal board became loose as a result of moving the tv from one house to another, the cable input is still in tact but when i hook up a dvd player to it and hit tv/video it shows all of the ports as...

you may be able to remove the back cover and see if any connectors are loose or if the board is plugged in(if it plugs in). get a pencil and gently press each of the connectors that have plugs in the to see if they are loose..re-assemble the tv and try it...worse case is circuit board is cracked or solder connections bad

Our Panasonic tv is about 8 years old and will cut off by itself and a few minutes later it will come back on. Some days it is worse than other days. Please advise what we need to do. Thanks, T. Gibson...

The first thing you can do is try plugging it somewhere else. Sometimes its the wall outlet. Unplug it and check to see if the plugs don't wiggle. Sometimes the metal plate on the plugs has broken loose. While it is plugged in move the cord to see if it does it. When all that don't determine the problem. You can open the TV, and check for loose connection, and cracked solder joints. Look aroun the flyback area because thats where most cracks develop because of its weight. I really don't recommend opening the TV because you could make the problem worse if you are not carefull. Also the tube can have lethal charge even if not plugged in, and some TV this charged remain for up to three days. Good luck.

TV plug came loose inside tv

The damage most be heavy for the power cord to come out with the conector that attaches to the main board, telling you where it goes will not help because most likely you have a broken main board, you shoud get an estimate from a qualified technician.
