Hitachi 50UX15k Screen is ok Then starts to roll, roll roll ...twist . Took the back off hoping for some simple adjustment but even if there is, seems like I would need a schmantic (spelling?) to locate it. My question is if there is an ajustment or not. thanks

I have an older 53" hitachi ultravision that rolls and twists when you turn it on. After about 10 minutes the picture is watchable but still wavey. Is there a component that is easily replaced? If so, Where can I buy it? Thanks a lot

There will be no ports to adjust rolling . its done through service mode program. To know more about service modes check the link.

Car wont start and rolls backwards even though it apears to be in park

Sounds like the shifter is stuck in reverse or drive since it will roll.
I would set the parking brake and have someone watch the shift lever on the transmission to see if it and the shifter inside is still connected.

PICTURE KEEPS ON ROLLING OVER. SOUND O.K., PICTURE O.K, COLOUR OK. TELEVISION

Check your V-Sync (i don't know what make or model your using, but generally the v-synch is a little knob on the back of the TV) Make adjustments until the refresh is in sync with the signal. (no science to it.. just twist clockwise or counter clockwise until it clears up)

Hitachi NV50AP3 1-1/4-Inch to 2-Inch Cap Nailer Brand new gun, just bought it. Gun does not always cycle properly or cleanly cut the plastic caps off of the roll. Many times the cap just nailed is still...

Several of my customers are having the same problem here in New Mexico. If your air temperature is around 95 degrees or higher the plastic the caps are made of becomes too pliable to break off when the nail is fired through it. If you cool or freeze the cap roll, the caps will break off however this usually impractical. Get in the habit of moving the gun forward after firing a nail/cap to break the cap off. If you pull up or backwards you get a string of caps pulled out of the gun.

Our Hitachi tv turns on okay but the picture on comes in for 2-3 seconds and then the screen goes black. Last night the tv work just fine but this problem started today as I turned the tv on to watch...

I don't know what model you have,but... I have a 50v715 and it was doing the same thing and it turned out to be the lamp. So if you have not replaced the lamp in a while then it could just be it time. Hope this is helpful.

Tracking seems off

I have had the same problem. There is no way to manually adjust the tracking on this Hitachi, or on most 8mm cameras, for that matter. I copied all of my more recent tapes to DVD first (2 copies of each) and then I went to the oldest tapes, which for some reason were OK. When I got to one tape that gave me trouble, I just let it play in the camcorder for about an hour. It adjusted its own tracking so that the picture was OK. Then, I rewound the tape and copied that one. I still have 2 tapes that will not adjust. I am going to send those out to a copying service. I hope they can adjust the tracking and make the copies I need.
By the way, I used this camera and a Panasonic DMR-E55 to make the DVD copies.
