You probably damaged the flex cable. You'll probably want to find a repair facility and get quoted a price. The part should be approximately 20 dollars. If you do want to try replacing it yourself it is a pretty rough phone to assembly/disassemble so be careful. Good luck.

I have a Motorola V710, it will not power on but the screen blinks when plugged in to charge, what's wrong?

The batery may not be holding a charge anymore, try removing the battery and clean the contact's, if that do'es not work the battery may need to be replaced.

Motorola V710 cell pone

Could be a few different things. 1)LCD is bad and needs replaced. 2)Flex cable is bad and needs replaced. 3)One of the flex connectors has gone bad and needs reflowed or replaced. Either way this is not a real easy phone to disassemble. Your best bet would be to take it to a repair facility and have them find the problem and quote a price. Or if you can acquire replacement parts I can do my best to help w/ disassembly, which like I mentioned above its not the easiest phone to assemble/disassemble. Good luck.
