It is probably giving co-ordinates in a different format. Go to setup and change the co-ordinates format to hddd.dddd and see if this solves your problem.
The topo maps are low in the map hierarchy. If another mapset is loaded at the same time and is also checked it will likely "cover" topo. I think the Recreation maps are the only one's lower in the hierarchy.
Sorry, no. Report serial number and internal ID number(if known) to Garmin and the Police. If a map is ever unlocked for it or it comes in for repair at least Garmin will know.
