No Picture When I turn television on, I have sound but no picture. Screen is completely dark. Worked fine yesterday but dark screen when turned on today.

Mitsubishi modle# 73733. bulb is not to old, when the tv comes on pic and sound come on, after a minute or so the pic will turn off. the sound still works it is going through a surround sound, when tv turns off red lamp light comes on? i swapped out another old lamp, it just started clicking and i could see something glowing next to the lamp area. put the newer lamp back in an came on for a min. then went black and red lamp light came back on, even hit the reset butten

Did you have color problems in past? Most of these sets have convergence problems. Amps goes out. But you should have seen some type of distortion from color, red,blue, green. If no color problems then maybe vertical ouput out or horizontal output bad.
