Question about Jenn-Air JJW8230D Electric Double Oven
1) take oven door off (position door fully open, flip forward the 2 jammer levers on the hinges, raise door 1/2 open until hinge springs are relieved by jammers, gently ease out door)
2) at the bottom of the door there are 3 screws on left and 3 on right. Remove the innermost screw on left and innermost on right.
3) ease open the glass front by pivoting on the top of the door, separating the bottom that you have just released by removing the 2 screws.

This is usually a fairly involed job on most ovens. There are many hidden screws, insulation and gaskets to deal with and you may not be able to get it back together correctly. You may get lucky and then again you may end up replacing parts or calling a technician.
A tea towel over the handle is a quick fix.
