Hii ! my cam is vivcam 5386,,, the screen is black but the basic controls appear on the screen but nothing appear ! help me as soon as possible
CCD Failure !
try it with VIVITAR may be they will do it free of cost it is considered a manufac fault thousands of cameras have faulty CCD chips who quit after some years of use

yes it happens all view is black when it is completely failed first it becomes blurry , blue ish greenish , pink tinge but some report dirst black screen , that mean sudden failure problem is the same u go slow or fast just call vivitar or return to point of sale they will do it free iam pretty sure
somewtimes it shows some pic sometimes it doesnt completely off
i have seen hundreds of such cases and i dont make mistake in this

ts okkkk ,,, but the problem is when i turn the cam one it doesn't show me what i want to capture,, all what i see is black screen , ,,,
thx alottt ,,, i appreciate that,, bt i bought it form newjersy beofre 2 years , and now i live in jordan ,,, so i can't do anthing until i return back to the state ,,,, thx a lot again ,,,
