My Casio EX-600 makes clicking noises when the lens comesout.
When I turn on my camera (when the lens comes out) i hear a fairly loud clicking noise and sometimes everything is blurry and the top section of the lens doesn't come al the way out, but when I use the zoom it comes out and everything is clear until I zoom out again.

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...
Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:
Lens or lens gearbox damaged that is why camera switches off automatically to prevent additional damage. You should send camera in for a quote because replacing impacted lens can be v. expensive. If you are lucky it is the gear box and that does not cost so much to fix.
