Cold water or cold & hot water connection?

Bosch WF6 2005 washing machine was uninstalled by a tenant in my house. I want to reconnect it but have noticed the hot water feed pipe on the wall behind seems to be 'capped'. Does this mean my machine is a cold water feed only? I hope so!

If there is only 1 water connection on the back of the machine then it's a cold water supply only and the machine will be fitted with a heater element to heat the water. If it has 2 water connections then you need the hot supply and should ask someone to fit the correct isolation valve on the capped pipe so you can fit the required hose. Most modern machines are cold water only.

My Bosch vision 300/500 DLX series washing machine continually dispenses hot water no matter what cycle I have dialed in. What can I do?

if it's hot and cold fill machine , have you got the hoses connected correctly hot to hot supply , cold hose to cold mains supply
if its cold supply only to machine , make sure it's not connected to hot water supply, this could be worth checking.

Hot water supply to washer works, but not cold water

Probably the small filter screen in the cold water supply line is plugged up with sediment. The screen will either be directly on where the hose connects to the supply line, or may be on the rear of the washing machine where the cold water supply line connects to the washer, usually a simple screw-on just like a garden hose.

Cold Fill Washing Machine Does Not Get Hot

Do y7ou have 2 hoses at the back of the machine one for cold water and one connected to the hot water tap of the house. If not then you have a cold water in only. If you have 2 hoses have you connected the hoses into the machine correctly Have you checked to see if your machine has a heating element under the bowl for heating the water. As an appliance shop to verify if you have by the model number of the machine. otherwise you have a cold washing machine and unless you can plumb hot water to it that is all you will have.

No hot water after move for washing machine

Check to make sure the hot and cold water tap is turned on at the back of the washing machine, if there both on and working the water inlet valve could be defective.

Machine does not heat your water immediately. If water comes out of house valve cold at first then that is what goes into washer. Please contact me if you need further help and leave feedback. Thanks for letting me help you!

Cold/Hot water

if this is a machine with two fill hoses, then you have them the wrong way round. to check, put on rinse and cold water should come in. if not, swap the hoses round. don't rely on what you house plumbing says is hot or cold - this is often wrong

Hot water thru out the house

The problem is solved, it was a single handle shower valve in the open hot position when my wife washed her hair, she turned the water off at the shower head. This forced hot water into the cold pipes when a faucet down the line was opened. Thnks for the help.
