I have a Panasonic Microwave Model NN-SD277. How do you access the workings of the door opener button? It is broken so the door won't open.

You have to remove the outer cover, the plastic lift levers are behind the door open button / lever. Caution!, panasonic discontinued a lot of those and getting a replacement part can be hard at times. Dont waste your time trying to glue it. After watching people try to glue or epoxy those cheap plastic parts for so many years. I have to warn folks to not waste your time trying. .It will not hold!!!! Look online and try to find a replacement part somewhere. It will be one of two parts. the door open button you push, or the door open lever that the front button pushes against. If you unplug the unit and remove the outer cover simply look behind the front control panel and when you push the button to open the door you will see where it is supposed to lift to open the door. The broke part is your problem, may be a piece laying in the bottom.

How do I get to the motor of this dryer? Do I need to get to it from the front of the dryer or the back?

On a rear control LG, from the front. Open door, remove two phillips screws at 4 and 7 O'clock positions, use putty knife to push in clips (2) holding top at front, swing top back, remove two phillips head screws holding front panel cabinet. Disconnect door switch and light plugs, tilt front panel forward and off bottom tabs, allowing sensor at bottom to be un-plugged, thus front panel now completely free of machine. 4 phillips screws hold front bulk head / front drum roller supports to cabinet. Lift up and off. Reach in and remove belt from tension pulley. Drum comes right out, allowing access to motor.

Kenmore Elite HE4T Washer

This advice is for Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet model front loading washers. If you experience a problem where the door becomes jammed and will not unlock or open, here's an easy way to gain access inside your washer WITHOUT calling the repairman.

1. Remove the lower panel under the door by loosening the three screws under the bottom edge on the front of the washer. HINT: If you prop up the front feet of the washer with some small blocks of wood, this will make access to the screws much easier.
2. With the screws removed, the lower panel should drop down then come off. If the panel sticks, a light tap on either side will knock it loose.
3. Reach your hand up inside the washer behind the front casing on the right-hand side. This is where the door latch assembly is located.
4. At the bottom of the door latch assembly is a small pull tab. This is the manual release for the door. Pull the tab straight down and the door will come open.

Sometimes these doors will not unlock for whatever reason. If there are no error codes being generated, this could have just been a momentary glitch. If you see "Fdl" "DLE" or "Fdu" error codes, these are usually indications of a failed door latch assembly and will require replacement.

How can I fix a door adjar error on a 1999 Lincoln Continental? When the drivers door is shut, the warning comes on and the dome lights remain on. I don't want to spend money to replace the sensor, but can...

I suspect you have a bad door ajar switch on one of your doors.

The switch is on the door latch. try pushing each door in with your hand one at a time and see if the warning goes away.
The Lighting control module is $500 and controls a lot of the vehicle functions. It is part of the headlamp switch. It has to be configured by the dealer with his NGS tester before it will work. Ebay has them cheap sometimes. Only buy Continental LCM for your model year.
