X5470 Language is wrong, I want to reset to dafault english

settings.language and keyboard,select language and region and choose English

Use Switch Language option. It will set the language back to English

Please follow the steps below to reset the Language on your Lexmark X3350 printer:

1. Power off the printer.
2. Hold down the power and + buttons simultaneously for five seconds. This will clear the language setting.
3. The first prompt you will see is English. If this is not the language required, toggle the + and - buttons to navigate to your preferred language.
4. Press the arrow button to select that language. The printer will save the new language setting.

Changing the Display Language
To change the display language, please execute the following steps:
Step Action 1 From the control panel, press Copy Mode. 2 Press . 3 Press or repeatedly until Tools appears. Then press the button.
4 Press or repeatedly until Device Setup appears. Then press . 5 Press or repeatedly until Language appears. Then press the button. 6 Press or repeatedly until the language required appears on the display. 7 Press to save the change.

Here you see how the menu pattern looks, and you can follow the visual cues to change the language to English. The menu layout is the same in every language.

Take out your manual and look where the language settings was(usually in the settings, but where). Then use your phones graphical interface as an aid and use to get the language settings so that you can change the language. This is how I did when I accidentally selected the wrong language. If you are unable to understand the current language, as to navigate through the menus, it refers you to Page 24 to Reset the printer to Factory Defaults which should be English.

(I know this is a duplicate post, but answered it to remove it from the list of current problems. You may still rate this if you wish.)

Press the menu button, second one down on the back of your camera. Tap the list "arrow down" button twice. You'll see at the bottom of the list on that screen a bubble that says "ABC". Tape the language bar and reset to English. (The language setting is 15th on the list when you bring up the menu.)

Dont purchase cameras with japanese language in future if they dont provide translation in english..
