    well i just recently changed my password for my emachine windows vista and when i went to go enter it and press ok it told me that it wasnt the corect password but i know it is. and when i click on forgot my password its telling me that i need to insert a disk but i dont have it. what can i do to change my password without putting in a disk?

    my emachines laptop does not let me log in
    it keeps on shutting down when i am about to put in my password

Please elaborate more on what you mean by it would not allow you to log on discribe in detail what it actually is doing so I can know how to help you. For instant is it whirling at the bios screen and continuing doing this?

Try clicking on her username at the top of the page. That should give you a drop-down menu with "Log out" or "Sign out" or some such thing. You can then log her out and log in yourself. If it doesn't give you such a choice, please reply to this post and specify which email service you're referring to.

Forgot password

You can still reset it. Open the Skype, enter your username, click "Forgot you password?", (you can do even if you don't enter the username, but it's better since you'll be taken to your personal page, check the url, you'll be be able to see your username).

Another windows will open up on the Browser, there, you'll see box "Enter your email address", type in your email address and click "submit"

You'll receive a temporary password on your email. Use the code to login and change the password after you are logged in. Note: to change the password, you'll need the temporary password, so don't delete the email, better note it down and change it once you are logged in.

Im having trouble loggin in to my emachines desktop pc, when i enter the password onto the username account, it logs in, but the screen remains blank
Your account is corrupt. Either log in as an admin, recover your files and create a new account (but this way the cause of the corruption will still be there) or just do a full reinstall.
If you can't log in as admin then use a Linux Live-CD to access your files.

Forgot username/password to access computer
Start the computer and tap F8 as it starts
Choose safe mode from the menu
Then log into the administrator account

Fix pc
hello,

If you are using non administrator account b4, then maybe your administrator account has no password. you can log off and switch to administrator then leave the password blank.

if ever you donot see the administrator account then you have to restart the machine and when it prompted you to log on then do not proceed. you press ctrl+alt+DEl 2x to let you type the username.

On username: type"administrator"
password: ___________
Blank.
then press enter

that is all!

Here's how I solve it:
1. Open your Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools > Internet Options then click the Connections tab
3.Click the LAN Settings button and a new dialog box will open
4. At the new dialog box, look for the Proxy server checkbox, if this is checked, uncheck it.
5. Then your done, click OK button for the dialog boxes.
6. Try logging in to your Yahoo Messenger account.

Administrator privileges
so your account means is not an administrator? Do you supply your password when loggin in? if then you should log off the system and in then, press simultaneously" CTRL+Alt+Delete" 2X

the system prompted you to type the username and password:

type:On;

Username: administrator
Password: _____________, password leave it blank and enter.

system will logon to the administrator account.

there u can install what u wish.

Dxlb-19 screen adjustment My monitor has worked perfectly for years but has now started flashing up the on screen adjustment main menu panel. But I can't do anything with it as it disappears again just as quickly and I can't remember what the four silver buttons to the left of the identical power on/off button do.
