How do I uninstall the program? I have tried everything.

Mozilla Firefox should be listed in Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. Remove it there. What trouble are you having in removing Firefox?

Goto add/remove program then select it there to uninstall. Or uninstall that in installed folder in the programs file select its uninstall.

Another is install it once again or select repair. Then uninstall it .

Or better use a third party software that could also totally uninstalled files and registry key leftover whenever you try to uninstall a program.

How to manually uninstall Mozilla Firefox

If you are having trouble uninstalling Mozilla Firefox via Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features in Windows 7 and Vista) and/or having trouble installing the Firefox updates the below steps will help you manually uninstall Firefox.

I upgraded Firefox. From the I only get a message to restart the computer over and over. Even if I try to uninstall it just restart the computer

often this is because of a corrupt file somewhere in the install. If you have tried
1. Findind the Mozilla Firefox folder in your computer and using the uninstall icon
and
2. Going to Control Panel and going to Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features and using that service to uninstall the program
then try to uninstall what you can, do not reboot, and manually delete the Mozilla Firefox files from Program files. Then, load up the Registry editor by going to run-> and typing in regedit
search (ctrl+f) for the word firefox and delete every instance you find.
now, restart your computer normally by going to start and then restarting.

1. Try opening the Firefox in the Safe Mode from Start -> All Programs-> Mozilla Firefox -> Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) and check.

2. If it opening in Safe Mode, then uninstall any conflicts Add-ons and try.

3. Uninstall the Firefox from the Computer, delete all the Folders of the Firefox from the "Programs Files" and "Documents and Settings" (in XP) or "Users" (in Vista or Windows 7) including the Profile and extension Folder of the Firefox.

4. Restart the Computer and then install the Firefox again.

This should resolve the issue.

Internet disconnects on using mozilla, safari, google chrome except internet explorer

This solution depends on how long ago you installed all 3 Browsers on your system.
I'm assuming you're using a Windows PC running Windows XP or Windows Vista

1- First, you want to uninstall Safari and Google Chrome (one at a time) from your PC. These two browsers are new to PC's and are not fully debugged/tested yet.
2- after uninstalling both, restart your computer 1 time.
3- After starting up again, start Firefox and try to surf to a website you haven't tried before on it.
4- If unsuccessful, check which version of Firefox you're using. If it is older than version 3.01, use Internet explorer to go to their website and download the new version.
5- uninstall the old version of firefox first, before installing the new version (always follow this rule for all future program installations, unless otherwise stated in the instructions for the program)
6- Once you have the new version of Firefox installed, run it and check for internet connectivity.
7- Firefox may ask to get settings from Internet Explorer at some point, say yes.

Let us know how it goes and rate us. :)

Firefox will not open

There is probably something wrong with your installation. Uninstalling firefox does not completely remove all traces unless you use Revo Uninstaller. Download this program, open it, select Firefox and uninstall it. When it asks if you want to delete registry entries or extra files, click select all then delete. Then try installing firefox again.

Mozilla Firefox will work terrifically for days and then, all of a sudden, the screen comes up and everything is askew.

1. Go to the Mozilla web site and download the newest version of the software.
2. Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall your current version of FireFox
3. Install the newer FireFox you just downloaded.

Keep us posted, please.
Thanks.
