Heat Pump comes on, fans slow down, switches off?

Sounds like a bad temp sensor or switch. Like in cars my guess is that the switch is failing to work causing the fans to stop despite the pump getting hot.

How do I control fan speed?

Keeping the fans clean is especially important, because the fans blow out hot air and bring in fresh air to cool down the laptop.

Fans attract dust, however, which can slow them down, resulting in a hot laptop.

If the laptop overheats, vital parts can cease functioning altogether.

Consequently, keeping your laptop's fans clean is crucial.

The fan speed on a laptop can determine how it operates consistently and reliably.

You can slow it down or speed it up, based on the circumstances.

For instance, slowing down the fan speed may be useful in reserving processes or during a prolonged slow time.

Speeding it up is beneficial in keeping the laptop cool during ongoing use or high-traffic times. For the long term, find a happy medium for regular use, so you won't "psyche" out your computer by constantly adjusting the settings.

Click on the Start menu and select "Control Panel." Next, choose "Performance and Maintenance."

Select "Power Saver."

To slow the fan speed, locate the slider next to "CPU Processing Speed" and slide it down by moving across to the left.

To speed up the fan, move the slider to the right.

Press "Apply" and then "OK," if prompted.

Hope this helps

I press the gas down real fast and it unsticks but then when I come to the next light it does it again. If it's cold out dose it doesn't do it as much if at all. I heard it could be a throttle body sensor. Any advise?

When car picks up speed the heat blows. when u stop or slow down. cold air blows

Tell me when you speed up is the heater set on hot and high speed?????
WHEN you slow down is the fan still going at the same speed or dose it go very slow when on idle.
If the Fan stays on high but runs cold when going about 80 in top but when you speed up it gets hot and then back off slightly then its sounds like Water pump isent pumping the water around the engine correctly ,but then it should make the engine run overheated.or it could be a slipping fanbelt, but then that should make the Alternator to make a noise,so {throttle to 2000 rpm from idle standind still} and see if there's a noise coming from the water pump area.
The belt should have just a little free movement more on the longest part of the belt(a very little about 1/8' movement
So check it out and let ne know how you get on .
